Setting:
Summer at CEA continues Conchita's philosophy of providing flexible options for integrating your child's summer with creativity, adventure, and intellectual and artistic growth. Students have the option of participating in three- or six-week programs through a variety of experiences.
Our ten-acre campus with its state-of-the-art theatre, multiple dance and music studios, art studio and kiln room provide the perfect environment for students to engage their passions and talents. Programs under the direction and supervision of our own professionals are designed for students to develop and enrich their talents, spark creativity and wonder, and provide the time to delve deeper into their spirits. All programs include outdoor, organized play and water fun.

Activities:
Music Intensive, Dance Intensive, Theatre Intensive, Visual Arts Intensive, Sports Intensive, CEA Tech Camp, Adventures in the Arts Camp.
Adventures in the Arts is a program designed for students in K4 - 3rd grades to use the different avenues of the arts and sports as channels to build life experiences. Through music, dance, sports, theater, and visual arts, the children will learn life skills and develop social and emotional skills that will allow them to incorporate creativity, emotion, innovation, and integrity into their daily lives. Activities include:
Sports - Children will be exposed to fun activities that help to develop their coordination and motor skills, while continuing to work on their athletic abilities. They will be introduced to organized sports, such as soccer and basketball by focusing on specific skills and allowing them to experience the benefits of physical training and exercise.
Moves & Grooves - Children will learn to express themselves through dance. They will develop their coordination, rhythm and musicality through creative movement. They will express their ideas and emotions in a fun and imaginative way.
Musical Theater - This will be a fun and exciting way to introduce young children to the dramatic arts. They will learn about the theatre, different genres of stage performance and acting techniques. Instruction will range from singing, playing theater games and improvisational acting, to applying learned techniques into skits and short performances where they will be able to showcase their talent.
Arts & Crafts - It’s all about creativity. Children will use their imaginations while creating artwork with a wide variety of materials. They will explore artistic techniques and world cultures through arts and crafts in a way that will be just plain fun!
S.O.A.R. (Summer of Awesome Reading) & Awe-SUM - As part of this program, children will continue to receive daily math and reading instruction in a fun and creative way, in order to continue to develop their skills in these areas and further prepare them for the school year ahead.
