Productions: Each year we produce 4 main stage theatre productions, several Capstones directed by Seniors, touring children's show, several collaborations with other departments, directing class projects twice a year, Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast production, and numerous guest artists. We have 2 primary performance spaces: a two year old state-of-the-art flexible Black Box theatre seating up to 150, and a 920 seat majestic proscenium theatre. Over the past 3 years students have had the opportunity to perform off-Broadway in New York City and at an international theatre festival in the Czech Republic.

Additional Information:

The Theatre Department participates in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival, the Georgia Theatre Conference, SETCs, Thespians Conference. Faculty are on the Board of the Georgia Theatre Conference and past president of the Association for Theatre in Higher Education. All faculty work professionally and have networks to help place students after graduation.

Georgia College has ranked one of the Best Regional Universities in U.S. New and World Report. Princeton Review named Georgia College as "One of the Best in the Southeast."
