Description:
Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society is a great field trip destination with over 600 animals, many highly endangered. Our collection includes animals from tropical regions around the world. Our zoo keepers do 11 talks and shows daily (included in admission) bringing guests greater understanding of the issues that wildlife faces across our planet. Many of our paths are well shaded with tropical botanicals. Our habitat designs get guests amazingly close to the animals. There's also an interactive play fountain (and changing tents), a wildlife carousel and safari train. Plus, we have a snack window with outdoor seating overlooking Baker Lake and indoor seated service in the Tropics Cafe. Group rates are available, visit our website for details.

Facility History:
Evolved from a boutanical garden in a city park, the self-supported non-profit Palm Beach Zoo has been in existance since the late '60's and accredited by the AZA for nearly 25 years.
