The Barrier Reef and atolls are considered one of the richest marine ecosystems on earth. While out on the Barrier Reef students learn about coral reefs and tropical marine biology at the same time as learning how to sea kayak, sail a kayak, snorkel, or fish Belizean style.

When travelling in the interior of Belize, students have the opportunity to experience tropical rainforests, savannas, wetlands, paddle on mountain clear rivers, and explore Belize's unique cave systems. With over 600 Mayan ruins spread throughout the country, students can also experience the remarkable history of the ancient Maya.
