Mission Statement:
The Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series is a national collection of musically themed running events that provides an avenue for runners and walkers alike to challenge themselves physically, emotionally and mentally, all while improving their lives and raising money to improve the lives of others. Over the last thirteen years, Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series partner charities have raised over $246 million (net) for their respective causes. Program History:
Rock 'n' Roll was created in 1998 with it's first race in San Diego. Since then it has grown into a nation wide running and entertainment phenomenon that benefits different charities across the nation and has established volunteer programs. We now have 25 races across the nation and have just added our first international races in Madrid, Spain and Edinburgh, Scottland!
Events:
Competitor Group is the parent company of the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series, TriRock Triathlons and Muddy Buddy races.

RACE CREW NEEDED!
The Sports Authority Rock ‘n’ Roll Denver Half Marathon is rockin’ through your neighborhood October 6-9. Nearly 17,000 runners will race to the finish, but they won’t be the only ones out on the streets of Denver. Rock 'n' Roll Denver also features live bands playing every mile, hundreds of cheerleaders along the route, and a finish line headliner concert. It’s a 26.2 mile block party!
Volunteering for the Race Crew means you will not only be supporting thousands of aspiring runners and walkers, but also the community of Denver. We need your help to make this event spectacular, and with over 1,500 Race Crew volunteer positions available there is a spot for everyone, including teams, corporate groups, or just friends and family.

Expo Setup – 1:30pm to 4:30pm
Friday & Saturday, October 7 & 8
Health & Fitness Expo – Times Vary (AM, PM and all day shifts available)
Sunday, October 9
Start/Finish Shift 1 – 5:00am to 8pm
Start/Finish Shift 2 – 6:00am to 2:30pm
Water Stations – times vary (Great for groups of 25 or more! Contact Volunteer Coordinator)
