Mission Statement:
Bob Jones Nature Center (BJNC) is a nonprofit organization with a mission to restore and preserve the Eastern Cross Timbers ecosystem through environmental leadership, education, and compatible outdoor activities.
Philosophy/Belief Statement:
BJNC’s WET & WILD Summer Camp aims to education children about local ecology and stimulate creativity in a safe environment. Our nature education follows Project WILD and Project AQUATIC curriculum! While volunteering, the Summer Day Camp Counselor’s primary responsibility is to interact with the campers and assist teachers with preparing lessons.

BJNC is seeking the talent of individuals (14 and older) who have a background in education or like working with kids to support Instructors and campers! Volunteer Summer Day Camp Counselors are responsible for interacting with campers, assisting teachers with preparing lessons, and maintaining a safe environment.
Volunteers are urged to commit to helping at least 20 days over the span of 5 weeks. The commitment dates are flexible. (Tuesday through Friday, June 9 to July 10 or July 14 to August 14.)
