Mission Statement:
Jewish Family Service of Bergen and North Hudson is looking for volunteers for our Friendly Visitor program. Volunteers provide human contact to the Agency`s frail, homebound, elderly care management clients through regular home visits. Commitment is based on volunteers` schedules and availability but we suggest making visit at least twice monthly. No experience necessary: just compassion and a desire to give back to the older adults in our community. A fingerprint/background check is required.
