Provost Academy South Carolina

Who We Are

Provost Academy is an online public charter high school serving students in grades 9 through 12. Provost Academy is a state-authorized public online high school that is free of charge to residents in the state of South Carolina. Provost Academy offers high school students the choice of a quality online learning experience that is engaging, personalized and flexible.

Provost Academy is backed by EdisonLearning, a global leader in providing education services. For twenty years, EdisonLearning has prepared more than 1 million students for college and the workforce, as one of the largest partners to public school districts and communities.

Students work toward their regular public high school diploma - recognized by colleges and employers - as they would in a traditional school, but in the convenient, safe environment of their own home, using the internet to connect to the classroom.

Provost Academy brings students and parents a powerful tradition of proven results and innovation in public school education.

Mission

The mission of Provost Academy is to provide a challenging, enriching, and meaningful curriculum that educates and respects the individual student and the diverse community of learners in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning. We believe in providing students with the tools necessary to meet high academic expectations and achieve academic success, thus building the skills and confidence needed to become intelligent, ethical, responsible, and civic-minded adults.
