A pilot was conducted in Stockton, California. GPA's were raised, as well as school attendance. We will send you a report of the findings.
Program Highlights:
This program concentrates on Nutrition for 2 days, Exercise for 2 days, and healthy attitudes for 1 day a week. Results from The Stockton School District were outstanding. The program is ideal for improving your school's comprehensive assessment scores, as it improves kids self-esteem, nutrition and exercise-- improving their chances to be successful.

Activities:
Exercise that is age appropriate. Each child receives an Activity Book that encourages Parent involvement. Lessons teach and guide students to make healthy choices in food selection.

Program Information:
Dump the Junk can be administered by a teacher or after school employee. Each session is about 20 minutes long and can be incorporated into an existing program after school at the school location. The curriculum can be purchased by the School Board, the PTA or a concerned parent for a private school. The Teacher's Guide retails for $495, and contains 175 lessons; 70 on Nutrition, 70 on Exercise, and 35 on Healthy Attitudes. It is very user friendly and written by curricrulum experts. The Student Activity Books are purchased for each child at $16.95 retail, and are spiral books with 140 pages including great four color graphics, tear out pages for home, and on location book work. If you want to give your students an opportunity to learn which foods will fuel their bodies, increase their exercise, and introduce healthy thinking, then Dump The Junk may be the best program you have ever purchased.
