Financial Aid While the primary responsibility for your education rests with you and your family, we will assist you in identifying additional financial aid resources. Currently, more than 13,500 RIT undergraduate and graduate students receive over $300 million dollars in financial assistance from federal, state, and institutional resources, in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and part-time employment. We expect to continue this commitment by assisting the same number of students for the upcoming academic year.

RIT Study Abroad
Welcome to RIT Global, your resource for study abroad and international fellowships. With over 400 programs in 50 countries, there is usually a study abroad program for students of every major. RIT Global offers four types of study abroad programs: Gateways, Global Campuses, Faculty-led and Affiliate. Gateway programs are RIT customized programs that are usually major specific. Our global campus programs allow students to directly enroll in one of RIT's overseas campuses in Dubrovnik & Zagreb (Croatia), Dubai (United Arab Emirates) and Pristina (Kosovo). Faculty-led programs are generally major specific and are designed and executed by an RIT faculty member who leads a group of students overseas. Finally, Affiliate programs run through RIT partner organizations. It is important to understand the type of programs you are interested in because each has different benefits for different students and each may have a unique application process.

Saunders Computer Labs
Saunders College of Business is equipped with state-of-the-art computer labs and active-learning classrooms, features integrated technology throughout the building, is part of one of the most wired campuses in the nation at RIT, and is home to several study spaces for students to work in groups or individually.

Undergraduate Admissions
Saunders does not specify a minimum test scores, as the entire application - including high school performance, TOEFL or IELTS score (international applicants only), SAT or ACT score, resume, and personal statement - is evaluated for admittance into Rochester Institute of Technology.
We require students complete Algebra and Geometry and recommend Trigonometry and Pre-calculus along with a strong selection of courses emphasizing communications/writing in High School.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
RIT recognizes IB level work. Credit may be awarded for higher level examinations completed with a grade of 5 or better. Credit is awarded on a course-by-course basis and in the context of the student's intended program at RIT. Each department will determine the specific amount of credit to be awarded. Students are requested to forward IB transcripts to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Transfer Credit
Transfer credit will be considered for relevant course work where a grade of C or better was earned at a regionally accredited college or university. Official transcripts must be submitted and will be reviewed on a course-by-course basis. RIT also reviews work performed in courses and training programs evaluated by the American Council on Education (e.g., CLEP, DANTES, etc.). Minimum acceptable scores vary by course and major.

RIT International Student Services Fall 2016 enrollment 2681 students from 96 countries RIT International Student Services provides a solid foundation for RIT's commitment to international education, assisting individuals from more than 100 countries. We advise students, faculty, clubs and departments on immigration, cultural, academic and personal matters. We work closely with Global Union, and several other international student clubs. Off-campus programs are often run with our colleagues at the RIT English Language Center as well as with Rochester Global Connections (formerly RIC).

We elevate students to make immediate and enduring contributions to organizations and the world through career-oriented experiences and out teaching and research, which integrate business, technology, and design thinking.
