Projects:

Cat® Simulators combine the finest in technology and operator instruction to create hands-on training for heavy equipment operators. Realistic controls ensure that the operator gains familiarization and muscle memory using the same hardware as in the actual machine. Rich graphics create a virtual world for the operator to experience training exercises native to the machines. Each training exercise measures and records the operator's simulation sessions so instructors, administrators and the student can see the results. Instructors can identify inefficiencies or weaknesses so the operator can focus on training to correct or strengthen the areas. Benchmarks are created by Caterpillar subject matter experts through a rigorous process. These benchmarks can be changed by instructors as desired or even for individual students. Safety features such as a seatbelt are included in the hardware to drill the step of buckling up into the operator's memory. Simulator models include machine walkarounds to help operators learn and retain proper inspection points on machines. It's the same preoperation walkaround that every operator must perform before beginning a shift.

Currently, 12 models are available with more in production. A motion system makes it a full body training experience. Get train-the-trainer instruction, 24x7 technical support and more.
