Program Description:
Semester Abroad, Gap Year, University levels. HISA limits its semester programs to under 30 students. Any single class may have from 30 12 students. Student-teacher ratio 4-1
Duration: Semester: Sept-Dec & March-June

Curriculum Highlights:
A highly challenging yet somewhat non-traditional program that encourages cultural immersion. Field trips to neighboring islands of Naxos, Mykonos, Delos, Anti-Paros, Santorini, and a 9-day optional excursion to the Aegean Coast of Turkey. Close personal attention is given, with ample opportunity to work when desired one-on-one with our highly qualified educators and working artists. End of semester show in our own Art Gallery also includes Poetry Reading by students

Additional Information:
HISA is the only accredited university full semester program located on a Greek island. As such, high-school and gap year students may obtain advanced placement credit toward their planned university studies. Classes in clude Painting, Photography, Digital Imaging, Mixed Media, Literature, Creative Writing, The Goddess, Theory of Art, Philosophy.
