Financial Aid:
AISU offers scholarships and financial aid to select students according to annual household income, academic performance, English level and other factors.
School Setting:
AISU is located on a 29 acre property in the center of Salt Lake City, Utah; and in a newly renovated complex on a $25 million campus designed to fit the school’s 21st century learning model. AISU’s campus includes a vista of the towering Wasatch Mountains. Utah is known around the world as the premier destination for winter sports. Salt Lake City hosted the 2002 Winter Olympics and is home to 14 ski resorts, seven within a 30 minute drive of the AISU campus !International students also have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful outdoors in Utah, including visits to nearby National Parks and landmarks.

The American International School of Utah (AISU) is a private school based in Salt Lake City, Utah, United States of America. We have a diverse student population of students from over 25 countries and many opportunities to learn foreign languages and travel also motivates students to engage globally. AISU invites students from around
the world to enjoy all the benefits of an American education. Students will improve English language skills, improve their opportunities to attend a top tier US University, and make lifelong friends from across the globe.
Each student has dedicated mentors and exceptional teachers who will help design the student's own Personal Learning Program according to their needs and interests. AISU offers a world-class faculty and staff. Most of AISU's teachers and administrators have advanced degrees, many from Ivy-league schools. Our Chief Academic Officer, Nathan Justis, has a Master's degree from Harvard University. Our Emeritus Provost, Dr. Douglas C. Braithwaite, has a PhD from MIT and a MBA from Harvard. He was also a director of admissions for the Harvard Business School. The performing arts director, Erica Glenn, received a Master's degree from Harvard University and has worked on Broadway. Several faculty members have professional engineering experience, and the Director of Project-Based Learning has served as the manager of STEM-related Middle School Programs at MIT. As these examples highlight, AISU students will have access to some of today's brightest and most innovative minds.
