The Southern Connecticut Hebrew Academy is conveniently located on an 8 acres campus in scenic south central Connecticut, on Route 34, in Orange, Connecticut. Students enjoy the natural beauty of their surroundings at our award-winning facility. Outside, our students play on our large field and state-of- the-art playground. The school building boasts a roomy atmosphere with large classrooms, synagogue, auditorium, libraries, art room, science lab, gym and computer lab.

Education is not limited to the classroom or to textbooks. We feel that our students must actively apply the lessons we try to transmit.
To implement this goal Beth Chana encourages participation in Chessed Activities.
1. Visits to the Jewish Home, Tower East and other senior resident facilities are set up on a monthly basis. Lunch and learn sessions give students an opportunity to interact with the residents.
2. Students are required to participate in Chessed related activities for a minimum of 36 hours during each semester of high school. A list of suggested projects and programs is made available to the students so they may become involved in activities of their choice.
Sports: Students can sign up for our girls' basketball team, with rigorous after-school practice sessions and games played against other neighborhood schools.
At Beth Chana, we aim to maximize each student’s opportunities for future success, as proud Jewish daughters well-integrated in the world around them.
The students at Beth Chana have a busy life, developing lasting friendships and sharing activities outside of school. Recreational trips, Shabbatonim, interschool conferences, and athletic competitions lead to meeting students from other schools. An annual musical production provides opportunities for expression in music, drama, art, and dance. Character development, as an integral part of learning, leads to ethical, caring behavior, and involvement in Chesed programs are encouraged.
