Curriculum:
Our approach at the Emerson Academy is project based, with an emphasis on research skills, analysis of literature, and group discussions. Our curriculum exceeds the California State Standards and the National Standards, and includes all requirements in math, English, science, and social studies, as well as foreign language requirements, hands-on science labs, ancient language translations, art history, drama, and physical education.

Parents are required to provide all previous student records, necessary vaccination verification, and any work samples, IEP’s or letters from schools that help us formulate a picture of the student and his / her current level.

Our mission is to provide a college preparatory education to students who have difficulty in traditional classrooms, or otherwise require alternative academic arrangements.
