Computer Capabilities:
EACH CLASSROOM IS FULLY EQUIPPED WITH INDIVIDUAL STUDENT COMPUTERS, SMART-BOARDS AND ADAPTIVE TECHNOLOGY TO ASSIST INSTRUCTION.
Our computers and laptops: Use Windows 7, run a modern browser, run Java, and in some cases Flash compatible to online- examinations (PARCC, SAT), run programs to create documents, spreadsheets and presentations, connect to wireless network and enable the use of a web camera and headset. Students participate in their instructional assignments using tools to access learning resources, manage time, communicate and collaborate with others, and manage their individual course requirements. Students use technologies to find, use and disseminate information; access text, image and audio files on the web (Digital Literacy Learning Outcomes), communicate using email and attachments, create basic documents, spreadsheets and presentations, manage and backup files using common file formats and use a common operating system to install and uninstall software, as well as manage software and settings.

School History:
Since the spring of 1935, the Fedcap Organization has made a deep and lasting impact on the field of vocational rehabilitation and in the lives of tens of thousands of individuals and their families. In 2011, The Fedcap School opened continuing the tradition of offering quality services through our unique educational programs helping young people achieve success in academics and employment. All our graduates leave the Fedcap School with a State Issued High School Diploma after the completion of 130 credits. Many students have applied to and been accepted to local Colleges and Universities while others received transitional services through NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities and New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services. Our primary focus is to give each student the support they need to move into a successful and self-sufficient adulthood by breaking barriers leading to high self-esteem, happiness and self-sufficiency.
